NascentWorks is committed to an inventive approach to development. We believe that artists must be provided with the tools they need to create--sufficient time, enthusiastic support and the collaborative resources to freely experiment. We respect the valuable role that the arts play in education and seek to expand the connectivity between art and the community it serves.

NY Verite is an ongoing series of short theatre pieces filmed live in hip New York City venues that give an audience not only an experience of New York theatre, but the city's flavor and vibe. It highlights the NYC live theatre scene, artists, and the edgy environment. Three episodes have been filmed. The link shows a promo that explains the concept of Verite more fully.

The NIS Online Educational Film project is the next of the Verite projects and will feature the rock musical nor.mal: a healing tool for students across the nation which is the true story of a family's struggle with an eating disorder.
